Job Description
Senior Salesforce Developer managing releases, CI/CD, and advanced administration for ICF’s federal Salesforce digital transformation platform. Supporting government clients, security standards, incident response, and multi-org operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding of new DTC customer project teams onto the Salesforce platform
- Conduct design reviews with tenant application teams for Salesforce best practices, DOT security standards, and tenant coexistence
- Perform deployments and production releases using GitHub and GitActions
- Handle tenant application operations and maintenance cases requiring advanced administration, including SSO setup, certificate rotation, custom domain management, connected-service reestablishment after sandbox refreshes, Data Loader activities, and network-team coordination
- Support Incident Response activities in accordance with contractual SLAs
- Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call Incident Response rotation
- Participate in daily client status calls, daily team standups, weekly and bi-weekly tenant customer calls, and other operational meetings
- Participate in platform ATO renewal assessments and mid-year changes
- Conduct technical design reviews with Salesforce architects
- Write policy and procedure documentation and manage the DTC Governance Library
- Recommend and lead implementations that improve DTC operations and toolsets
- Provide solution consultation, design and code reviews, CI/CD execution, incident response, advanced system administration, platform services, technology and security standards, and technical briefings for federal agency stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, proficient in declarative and programmatic development and troubleshooting
- Experience writing and analyzing Apex, Lightning Web Components, YAML, and other coding languages used in enterprise Salesforce environments
- Experience with Mulesoft and pipeline management
- 3+ years of experience performing Salesforce deployments and administering CI/CD pipelines using GitHub as source control
- Active Salesforce Certified Administrator and Platform Developer certifications, with Trailblazer profile link
- US Citizenship or Green Card only
- Ability to obtain a federal government public trust clearance
- Residence in the United States
- Ability to support US Eastern time zone work hours between 8 am and 6 pm
- Ability to provide occasional after-hours support for P1/P2 incident response and prescheduled deployments
- Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Consultant, and/or Architect certifications
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise data governance, cloud-based data warehousing, and/or Salesforce Data 360
- Preferred: Experience building and deploying Agentforce agents
- Preferred: 3 years of Salesforce consultation involving fit analysis, requirements mapping, and high-level solution architecture
- Preferred: Understanding of OmniStudio and its components and use cases
- Preferred: Understanding of Salesforce CRM data models and tools for Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, CRM Analytics, and related add-ons
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange utilities, Docusign, and Own
- Preferred: Critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, clear communication, and polished written deliverables
