Job Description
Senior Security Architect at Akamai, turning compliance guidelines into business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing security frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Owning the technical aspects of security integrations from creating/updating configurations, testing, debugging, and deployment
- Analyzing customer web traffic, being a proactive technical consultant for our customers, delivering value with every engagement
- Customizing Akamai security solutions to address potential threats and vulnerabilities for our Security Business Unit
- Working with Akamai's Prolexic DDoS service to help mitigate DDoS attacks for our customers
- Participating in training initiatives to develop your skills, reviewing/improving the security posture of our existing/new products
- Monitoring current security standards and monitoring advancements in information security technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
Requirements:
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, another related field or its equivalent
- Deep understanding and knowledge of protocols such as DNS and HTTP/HTTPS
- Demonstrate understanding of DDoS and associated attack vectors
- Experience with industry compliance and security standards including PCI and GDPR
- Knowledge of application security, such as Security event management, Real Time Traffic Analysis or Security Compliance
- Able to review system designs, identify security risks and suggest ways to mitigate these risks
- Experienced with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, Go
