Job Description
Senior Security Research Engineer conducting Internet measurement research at Censys. Partnering with teams to deliver new security prototypes and analyze large datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Internet measurement research using Censys’ Internet-wide scan data
- Partner with Research and Product to deliver new security prototypes
- Inspect, mine, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Work closely with multiple engineering teams to inform technical decision making
- Assist in data classification and dataset interrogation
- Serve as a public face for Censys sharing knowledge around Internet-wide security trends
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of Internet protocols and technologies
- High proficiency in using analytical databases and warehouse such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.
- Ability to conceive, execute, and derive actionable insights from measurements
- Have strong communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts to others.
