Job Description
Senior video shooter/editor creating social content for VaynerMedia’s global brands. Capturing live events, editing platform-optimized videos, and mentoring creative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Create attention-grabbing content measured by views, saves, shares, and other attention metrics
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos optimized for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
- Track social video format and editing trends
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments on rapid requests and tight timelines
- Participate in creative brainstorms, kickoffs, and team meetings
- Contribute meaningful ideas and design strategy formulation
- Mentor Creators, Creator Residents, and in some cases Art Directors and Copywriters
- Guide and educate teams on best practices, ideation, and execution
- Oversee live event content capture
- Add creative direction and craft to always-on creator campaigns
- Direct global talent
- Guide teams through content production from concept to capture to posting and beyond
- Partner with the creative lead to ensure high-quality creative output across the account
Requirements:
- 5+ years professional creative experience
- Proven experience as a video shooter/editor, preferably in advertising, digital media, or a related field
- Solid understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, framing, and audio
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
- Content creation skills capable of execution from start to finish
- Passion for video and motion design
- Responsible, accountable, and self-starter demonstrating initiative
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to partner with the creative lead to ensure high-quality creative output
