Job Description
Senior Software Architect focused on security for critical banking applications at BBVA. Leading initiatives in software design, security integration, and compliance with banking standards.
Responsibilities:
- Define and design secure software architectures, establishing security patterns and guidelines for Java and Go applications.
- Ensure that applications and platforms are protected by deploying and integrating security solutions across multiple technologies and geographies.
- Design, implement, and standardize cryptography mechanisms, SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management, and secret protection.
- Lead and coordinate local and global security initiatives, aligning projects with international teams.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software architecture and development focused on security in enterprise or financial environments.
- Experience in code development and review in Java Spring Boot and Go.
- Knowledge in applied cryptography, RSA, hashing and PKI.
- Experience in API security and microservices architectures OAuth2, OIDC, JWT and mTLS.
- Knowledge in infrastructure, containers and Cloud Security, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Experience coordinating projects and working with multidisciplinary teams, communication and negotiation.
- Intermediate-advanced English.
