Job Description
Senior Softwareentwickler*in at Biga Software GmbH collaborating on client projects with a focus on innovative solutions. Working 100% remote with a commitment to clean code and user-centered design.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of software solutions: Contribute to a variety of client projects, develop new features and maintain existing software for our clients.
- Collaboration in a small, agile team: Work closely with other team members and, depending on the project, with our clients' teams.
- Active influence on company processes and joint development of solutions.
- Understanding and implementing client requirements: Analyze customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Mentoring colleagues: You enjoy sharing your knowledge—whether in reviews, during pair programming or through short technical coaching sessions within the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in at least one relevant programming language: Strong knowledge of languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Dart, Java or another comparable language.
- Professional experience: At least five years of professional software development experience, ideally across different projects and technology stacks.
- Willingness to learn new technologies: You will encounter a diverse mix of technologies with us.
- Project management & client communication: Confident and structured communication with clients is part of our daily routine—whether for alignment, questions or clarifying requirements.
- Design sensibility & user focus: You care about good design and ensure software is not only technically sound but also understandable, attractive and accessible (a11y).
- Independent working style and initiative: Ability to work remotely and take ownership of projects.
- Communication skills and team spirit: Good communication skills and a willingness to actively collaborate within the team.
- Clean Code and unit tests: Understanding and application of Clean Code principles as well as experience with unit testing to ensure long-term maintainability and defect-free software.
- German language skills: Due to close coordination with the client, fluent German is mandatory.
