Job Description
Senior Engineer contributing across the stack with a focus on backend systems in a rapidly growing AI technology company. Involvement includes designing and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute across the stack with a primary emphasis on backend systems.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs.
- Contribute to product features end-to-end.
- Maintain and extend integrations while ensuring systems can scale with growth.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and developer experience challenges.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering practices and architecture.
- Example initiatives may include improving how users interpret performance data, building unified data access layers, and handling large-scale ingestion of external data sources.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and backend frameworks (exact stack is flexible).
- Interest in incorporating AI tools into development workflows.
- Experience with asynchronous processing systems or message queues.
- Exposure to document-oriented databases or similar data storage systems.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data pipeline concepts.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
