Job Description
Senior Software Development Engineer growing expertise in writing high-quality code for games. Collaborating with game teams, assisting with technology choices, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Write code that is clear, well-tested and modular.
- Architect features and services with a mind towards operability and scalability.
- Assist game teams with technology choices and follow through with implementation.
- Mentor more junior engineers via paired programming and code reviews.
- Work with project managers inside and outside our studio to deliver features to players.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years of professional backend services experience
- Experience writing backend services in an established framework (e.g. Java Spring, ASP.NET, Node.js, Django or similar)
- Experience with cloud computing and cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with a strongly-typed programming language (C#, Java, C++, or similar)
- Must be fluent in English and willing to work according to US time zones (must be available 8am - 3pm Pacific Time).
