Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing automation systems for insurance tech startup Jerry.ai. Focused on building tools that enhance user experience and automate complex business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end
- Ship new automations in 1–2 weeks on average
- Design backend business logic that drives automation
- Optimize and scale internal tools to reduce agent intervention
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to improve customer retention
Requirements:
- At least 5 years full stack engineering experience building production-grade software
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- Comfortable working asynchronously across teams and time zones
- Experience with specific languages or frameworks is not necessary
- Must be able to tackle ambiguous problems and break them down into actionable code
- Curiosity and adaptability to learn and explore new tools and technologies
