Job Description
Senior Software Engineer responsible for leading software releases and ensuring code quality in a remote SaaS company. Involves technical coordination, testing new features and optimizing CI/CD processes.
Responsibilities:
- You define clear release scopes, coordinate their implementation and take responsibility for the entire release cycle.
- You perform code reviews of developers, ensure quality and ensure clean integrations into the system.
- You test new features, integrate them into the production system and take care of the necessary documentation.
- You review and optimize our merge, release and deployment processes as well as our CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- Technical understanding of Python-based web applications (e.g., Django, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Linux).
- Experience with code reviews, quality assurance and disciplined development processes.
- Basic understanding of IT security, secure software development, data protection and handling of sensitive data.
- Structured working style, strong analytical thinking and high diligence in testing and documenting.
- Willingness to help, team orientation and very good communication skills.
- Native-level German and very good English skills.
