Job Description
Senior Software Engineer developing a scalable platform for personal loans using Node.js, React, and TypeScript. Leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior engineers while measuring impact by user outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- working on an innovative and scalable platform that originates personal loans
- writing clean, tested, and well-documented code
- providing peer code review and mentoring other engineers on the team
- owning meaningful product and technical initiatives end to end
- working directly with product and business partners
- measuring success by impact: conversion, adoption, reliability, and user outcomes
- setting engineering standards and patterns through your work
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- hands-on experience building, shipping, and supporting production software using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
- experience owning: CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production monitoring and observability, and post-production support
- experience handling regulated or sensitive data (PII/PIFI) responsibly
