Job Description
Engenheiro de Software Sênior desenvolvendo serviços AWS de visualização e streaming de modelos 3D. Liderando soluções escaláveis, resilientes e de alta performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex streaming and visualization service modules, working independently to resolve technical challenges
- Provide technical leadership for components and initiatives from end to end, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of developed solutions
- Develop, implement, and operate services in AWS environments, primarily using ECS and EC2, as well as S3, DynamoDB, SQS, ElastiCache/Redis, Lambda, and CloudFront
- Implement caching, data management and recovery, scalability, and performance optimization strategies
- Work with failure-recovery strategies, retry policies, dead-letter queues, and optimization of memory and data access
- Monitor and improve the performance, availability, and resilience of services in production
- Investigate complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decisions, contributing improvements and adopting new technologies
- Collaborate with system architects, expert engineers, and teams responsible for rendering and visualizing 3D models
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of development processes
- Use artificial intelligence tools to support development, testing, code review, and automation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4–5 or more years of professional experience developing software and production services
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, or substantial backend development experience in another language with the ability to adapt to the Node.js ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, especially ECS and EC2
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment across different environments
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, mathematics, and computational complexity analysis
- Knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming, concurrency, and complex problem-solving
- Knowledge of REST APIs or WebSockets and data interchange formats such as JSON or Protobuf
- Knowledge of observability practices, including logs, metrics, and tracing
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Interest in and openness to using artificial intelligence tools in software development
- Advanced English proficiency
- Advanced experience developing with JavaScript
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Harness
- Knowledge of systems architecture and memory management, including memory-mapped files
- Experience with embedded key-value databases such as RocksDB
- Knowledge of caching algorithms, eviction strategies, and streaming data processing
- Experience with 3D model data, geometry processing, meshes, point clouds, Level of Detail (LOD), compression, or streaming pipelines
- Knowledge of CDNs, global data distribution, and containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
- Knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP/2, QUIC, and WebSockets, especially as they relate to streaming performance
- Knowledge of or experience with Rust is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–10 years of professional experience preferred
