Job Description
Senior UI Engineer building scalable React-based interfaces for Atolio’s AI-powered enterprise search platform. Developing responsive user experiences, frontend architecture, and agent-driven workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-quality user interfaces for complex web applications on responsive desktop and mobile platforms
- Develop scalable frontend architecture and reusable component systems
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features
- Build user experiences that leverage AI and agent-driven workflows
- Use modern AI-assisted and agentic coding tools to improve development velocity and code quality
- Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering planning
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability
- Contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and code reviews
- Help shape the future direction of the product and user experience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development
- Experience building modern web applications using React, Vue, Angular, or a similar frontend framework
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architecture
- Strong understanding of component-based development and state management patterns
- Experience working closely with product and design teams
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering workflows
- Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite
- Experience writing and maintaining end-to-end tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment
