Job Description
Senior Web Developer working with Adobe Experience Manager at Cloudera. Designing and maintaining web applications that drive marketing and business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications and components using Java, OSGi, and the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
- Implement custom AEM components, templates, and workflows to support marketing web initiatives.
- Integrate AEM with other systems, analytics platforms, and third-party web services.
- Collaborate with fellow web developers, designers, business stakeholders, and other internal teams to define technical requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues across various AEM environments.
- Ensure adherence to established coding standards, performance metrics, and security guidelines.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years dedicated to developing and implementing solutions on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or later).
- Expertise in OSGi, JCR, Sling models, and AEM core concepts.
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture, including dispatcher, caching, and performance optimization.
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficient with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively support integration with client-side code.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
