Job Description

ServiceNow Developer designing and enhancing ServiceNow applications for Improvix Technologies’ federal and corporate clients. Supporting secure, reliable IT solutions through development, architecture, and platform performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom applications and enhancements in ServiceNow
  • Provide architectural input
  • Maintain overall platform stability by ensuring appropriate design and development standards
  • Work independently and as a technical team member
  • Work in multiple instances and domains while supporting internal and external customers
  • Use Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work
  • Advise functional and administrative teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices
  • Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners in business analysis meetings
  • Develop business and systems requirements
  • Solve and develop requested enhancements to existing ServiceNow applications
  • Script Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and related components
  • Facilitate and support rollout of new applications and enhancements in ServiceNow
  • Analyze system performance issues and determine performance enhancements

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance required; Top Secret eligible
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions
  • Strong familiarity and working knowledge of the ServiceNow Suite of tools, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base
  • Proven developer experience independent of the ServiceNow platform
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Competency with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP/PRINCE2 practices
  • Experience working on project teams using Agile/Scrum
  • Experience with system/software engineering lifecycle principles
  • Ability to translate requirements into functional and technical solutions
  • Experience with application implementation and support
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring
  • Experience working with large data sets and performing data analysis/modeling
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification preferred
