Job Description
Co-op Software Developer for Helm Operations focusing on maritime software development. Engage in design, development, and testing of maritime solutions within a flexible, remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the design, development, and testing of new software features.
- Collaborating with experienced developers to solve real-world customer challenges.
- Learning full-stack development with modern tools and frameworks.
- Gaining hands-on experience in agile product development.
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong communication skills in verbal and written English.
- Exposure to at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java, C/C++, C#, Python).
- Interest in front-end (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) and/or back-end (C#, databases) development.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Nice-to-Have (but not required): Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with relational databases.
- Interest in maritime, industrial, or safety-critical software.
