Job Description
Software developers and founders submitting unused repositories for licensing assessment. Receiving repository valuations and compensation under agreed non-exclusive licensing terms.
Responsibilities:
- Submit an existing software repository for an initial assessment of its potential licensing value
- Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and applicable acceptance criteria
- Explore licensing opportunities if the repository qualifies
- Review the estimated value before deciding whether to proceed
- Receive compensation according to agreed licensing terms if a transaction is completed
Requirements:
- Software development experience or ownership of an existing software product, application, or repository
- Full ownership or legal rights to license the submitted source code
- Access to original code repositories, including discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools, or independently developed software
- Code must not include third-party material that you are not permitted to sublicense
Benefits:
- Compensation according to agreed licensing terms if a transaction is completed
- Current reference rates for standard non-exclusive licensing: $100 per 1M source-code tokens
- Current reference rates for standard non-exclusive licensing: $40 per 1M Git-history tokens
- Ability to review the estimated value before deciding whether to move forward
- Initial repository assessment and evaluation of potential licensing value
