Job Description
Software Development Engineer in Test responsible for tests and quality assurance of APIs for Akamai's cloud solutions. Collaborating with a global team to ensure the cloud platform is resilient, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities:
- Building manual and automated integration and system tests
- Responsible for quality assurance of various API for Akamai cloud
- Developing test automation and executing automated and manual tests
- Ensuring the cloud platform is resilient, Secure and scalable
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have a solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Demonstrate proven experience developing Python-based automation frameworks and testing REST/Open APIs
- Have solid hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Be proficient with Git, Jira, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and basic MySQL database querying/schema design
- Be a self-motivated team player with excellent debugging skills, communication, and a passion for learning new technologies with minimal supervision
