Job Description
Join Backblaze as a QA Automation Engineer ensuring quality across products. Focus on test automation and collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality, reliability, and scalability of Backblaze products
- Write structured test plans for new features
- Automate tests and contribute to test harnesses
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
- Enhance workflows using AI
- Document steps for defect tracking
- Collaborate with developers on defect resolution
- Contribute to QA process improvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA experience
- Experience with API testing
- Automation skills in Python/JavaScript
- Familiarity with cloud storage concepts
- Experience with Selenium or Playwright
- Knowledge of TestRail and JIRA
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Cross-platform experience (Mac/Windows/Linux)
