Job Description
Software Engineer II building automation systems at Jerry.ai for car ownership. Join a team to improve user experience through innovative technology and support millions of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Build automation systems that handle complex insurance servicing tasks end-to-end
- Ship new automations in 1–2 weeks on average
- Compose backend business logic that drives automation
- Design backend pipelines that sync customer policy data
- Optimize and scale internal tools to reduce agent intervention
- Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering ops to improve customer retention
- Continuously improve backend systems, APIs, and microservice architecture
Requirements:
- At least 2 years full stack engineering experience building production-grade software
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- Problem solver with an ability to tackle ambiguous problems
- Ownership of end-to-end outcomes
- Comfort working asynchronously across teams and time zones
