Job Description
Speech-Language Pathologist providing neurological rehabilitation for Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners. Treating speech, language, cognitive, dysphagia, and communication needs in Anaheim-area homes and communities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language
- Evaluate and treat executive functioning needs
- Evaluate and treat cognitive needs
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia
- Evaluate and treat augmentative communication needs
- Provide individualized neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities
- Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Incorporate creative activities to address functional goals
- Treat patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and complex orthopedic diagnoses
Requirements:
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Patient-centered care experience
- Evidence-based treatment approach
