Job Description
Speech-language pathologist providing individualized neurological rehabilitation for Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners. Evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, and augmentative communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and treatment of impairments across speech and language
- Treat executive functioning and cognitive needs
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia
- Address augmentative communication needs
- Provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities
- Develop and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Incorporate creative activities while addressing functional goals
- Accept patients for the duration of their stay in PRN assignments
Requirements:
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Experienced Speech Language Pathologist
