Job Description
PRN Speech-Language Pathologist providing individualized neurological rehabilitation in Fullerton patients’ homes and communities. Treating speech, cognition, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving speech and language
- Evaluate and treat executive functioning and cognitive needs
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia
- Address augmentative communication needs
- Create and implement integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide individualized, one-on-one treatment in patients’ homes and communities
- Accept PRN patients for the duration of their stay
Requirements:
- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
- Patient-centered care in patients’ homes and communities
