Job Description

Staff AI Engineer role focusing on technical leadership and architecture for AI products. Join a team impacting millions with Generative and Predictive AI systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical roadmap for our AI Voice Agent ecosystem, ensuring every architectural decision scales with our aggressive business growth
  • Act as the ultimate SME for LLMOps and AIOps, mentoring a high-performing engineering team in system design and implementation excellence
  • Partner with Product to deploy Foundational Models (LLMs) and specialized speech-to-text (ASR/TTS) models into production environments
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in infrastructure and real-time inference performance
  • Translate technical complexities into clear strategic narratives for executive leadership and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience building robust, production-level code in Python
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying high-volume, low-latency Conversational AI, specifically focusing on ASR/TTS engines or real-time NLP
  • Experience with AI Evaluation (automated evaluation pipelines, data sets, and quality assessment of LLMs)
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Gemini) to accelerate coding and development process
  • Proven track record in designing fault-tolerant, distributed systems
  • Expert-level knowledge of Foundational Model orchestration (LangChain, LangGraph) and advanced RAG architectures
  • Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of ML algorithms using PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with NLP libraries (Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS), microservices, and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, ServiceBus)
  • Expert command of modern SDLC tools, Git, unit testing, and profiling to ensure zero-downtime deployments
  • Nice to have: Experience implementing Reinforcement Learning (RL) and continuous learning loops for online system optimization
