Job Description
Staff Software Developer at Loopio leading the development of end-to-end features for the web platform. Collaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance user experience and technical design.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and rapidly building end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform
- Proactively build technology to prevent bugs as they come up
- Interact with and gather detailed feedback from customers for user-centric experience
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment
- Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance
- Comfortable leading technical design discussions and facilitating decision-making
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with backend and API development using PHP, Python, or Java
- Experience with frontend development, with a solid understanding of React and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL
- Experience working with search technologies or libraries such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
- Proficiency in using and designing RESTful APIs
- Strong experience with AWS and DevOps practices
- Comfortable integrating AI-assisted or LLM-powered capabilities into production applications
- Experience mentoring other engineers through coaching, design reviews, and code reviews
- Comfortable guiding technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision-making
