Job Description
QA Automation Engineer developing automated testing frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. Collaborating with teams to enhance software quality through automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript to validate web application functionality.
- Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to create clear, business-readable test scenarios that align with stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure test scripts are modular, reusable, and maintainable to support long-term testing needs.
- Utilize BrowserStack to execute automated tests across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Configure and manage automated testing workflows using GitHub Actions to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA teams to define test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Automation testing
- Hands on experience on Playwright with TypeScript
- Proficient in Cucumber , BrowserStack, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
