Job Description
Staff Software Engineer at Hubla focused on payment processing systems and high-performance architecture. Leading projects and collaborating with a strategic engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, lead, and evolve high-performance, highly available payment system projects.
- Work with event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Ensure the security and compliance of payment flows (e.g., PCI).
- Participate in technical and product decision-making and define solutions with strategic impact.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers, striving for excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong experience as a software engineer with a backend focus and leading large software projects.
- Advanced knowledge of distributed systems architecture.
- Clear, concise communication and strong writing skills.
- Autonomy, proactivity, and an ownership mindset.
- Interest in working in a collaborative environment with real technical challenges and high impact.
- Experience with Golang.
- Experience with payment systems: tokenization, acquirers, 3DS, reconciliation, etc.
- Knowledge or experience with payment security (PCI Compliance).
- Familiarity with messaging, queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in high transaction volume environments.
