Job Description
Substation Physical Designer providing innovative engineering solutions for distribution substation projects. Fully remote position focusing on quality deliverables and client engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Design and preparation of substation drawings including One Line and Three Line diagrams.
- Develop Bill of Materials based on Design Criteria.
- Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in client meetings and perform site visits for data gathering as required.
- Mentor and guide junior designers.
Requirements:
- An associate’s degree in Drafting/Design or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in substation design with Inventor 3D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and MicroStation.
