Job Description

Principal II Solution Designer at Sabre delivering complex travel technology solutions. Leading initiatives in travel technology while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to enhance customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expert knowledge across multiple product domains to support solutioning of complex industry problems and act as a mentor/lead to more junior staff.
  • End to end oversight and responsibility for designing functionally and technically sound solutions to complex business problems in travel technology, driving the industry's transition from legacy PSS environments to dynamic, AI-driven retailing and Offer-Order ecosystems.
  • May be responsible for multiple major projects requiring innovative solutions that advance the overall Product strategy.
  • Engage customers (internal and external) in business, strategy, and ROI-based discussions to understand how we can help deliver value.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, consulting and commercial teams to develop compelling solutions that resonate with our customers.
  • Interact with key customer business and technology experts to understand the core business needs, current technology employed, and articulate how Sabre’s capabilities can address those needs.
  • Achieve a strong understanding of the full functional value of Sabre suite of products and how they integrate with other systems.
  • Actively participate in and lead process improvement initiatives, with a specific mandate to champion and operationalize AI growth and innovation, embracing new industry technology standards.
  • Participate in the review and response to complex sales opportunities and RFPs.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience working in travel technology, ideally with Sabre products.
  • Ideal focus: PSS, Offer-Order, Agentic AI, NDC, E-commerce, Payments, Loyalty, APIs, retail intelligence.
  • Highly experienced professional, with demonstrated expert knowledge across a wide range of Sabre products is preferred.
  • Proven track record in successfully leading large scale transformation initiatives end-to-end, as well as driving large scale process changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing interests, by combining key project management skills with a strong, in-depth functional/technical background.
  • Abundant curiosity to delve into unfamiliar areas and quickly become proficient.
  • Experience designing and documenting complex solutions across multiple touchpoints.
  • Ability to present a compelling solution to a business need that is grounded in technology.
  • Ownership mindset of individual and team objectives; with both tactical and strategic thinking to ensure measurable results.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve professional, technical or operational project challenges in a creative, methodical manner.
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented, highly collaborative virtual environment that is geographically distributed.
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a multi-stakeholder environment where there are often competing priorities, goals and challenges across our diverse set of internal and external customers and partners.
  • Excellent self-organization skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize several projects in parallel.
  • Skilled communicator able to interact persuasively with customers at all levels from end user through C-level executives.
