Job Description
Superintendent overseeing project coordination and execution of perimeter security and fencing projects in the construction industry. Responsible for project health, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct daily project activities to ensure schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure that daily and weekly activities align with the project plan
- Maintain high levels of communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop procurement plans
- Supervise and coordinate activities within the project site using Crew Supervision
- Provide project status updates
- Adapt to changing conditions quickly and develop safe, efficient work plans
- Ensure the Quality Control Plan is set up for the project and enforce quality standards
- Maintain accurate daily reports, production reports, and other required reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of three years of experience in onsite supervision
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Ability to sequence work based upon available design documents
- Strong understanding of general construction processes on commercial and industrial projects
- Good understanding of the installation of fencing and perimeter security structures including anti-climb, anti-dig, and/or crash-rated fencing, gates, turnstiles, bollards, and other various security structures
- Ability to monitor construction schedules and advise on potential setbacks or issues
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing
