Job Description

Systems Engineer II designing and developing Integrated Digital Environment solutions for aerospace systems. Working on Digital Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Product Lifecycle Management integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, evaluate, and modify system-oriented products throughout their life cycle
  • Generate system requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, and acquisition logistics
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop lower-level implementation requirements
  • Support the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to product development
  • Design and integrate system interfaces to ensure seamless interoperability of system elements
  • Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation
  • Develop and execute system-level verification procedures and customer acceptance test plans
  • Review test plans and procedures to ensure alignment with contractual objectives and participate in system testing activities
  • Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
  • Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
  • Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
  • Participate in growth efforts as requested
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
  • Complete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)
  • Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
  • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 2 - 4 years of experience, or a Master's with 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Experience applying technical standards, principles, and theories to solve moderate-scope technical challenges
  • Ability to generate system requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams on implementation strategies
  • Familiarity with system conceptual design, performance assessments, and verification methods
  • Strong analytical skills to assess technical performance measures and ensure system compliance.
