Job Description
Systems Engineer III for IDEMIA developing identity solutions for the US Government. Collaborate within a scrum team to deliver software components for various clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a scrum team to breakdown Features into stories and work together to size the stories.
- Develop high quality code/work products from User Stories for delivery to IDEMIA customers and internal staff.
- Build software components for multiple operating systems including Linux and Windows.
- Work closely with scrum team to meet sprint goals.
- Self-manager who researches current and emerging technologies and adheres to best practices.
Requirements:
- Five+ years of systems integration experience.
- Experience with Linux, Linux shells & scripting languages.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, VNC, Git/Gitlab, and/or other similar products.
- Experience with RDBMS, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of and experience employing sound engineering principles and problem-solving methods.
- Good working knowledge of best practices for coding including clear comments, source control, and code reviews.
- Experience with RDBMS data models.
- Experience with cloud services.
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related equivalent.
- Some travel may be required.
