Job Description
Systems Engineer enabling partners to effectively position, sell, and deliver SecOps solutions. Leading technical enablement and collaboration within Fortinet’s partner ecosystem in Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Train and technically enable partners on SecOps architectures, workflows, and integrations.
- Own and evolve the SecOps demo lab (in collaboration with SSE SecOps), including demos and simulations.
- Support CAM SecOps and BDMs in sales plays, partner engagements, and co-selling activities.
- Provide technical leadership to help partners move from product knowledge to full SecOps solution selling and service creation.
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers on the technical enablement, development, and readiness of assigned partners.
- Drive technical strategies and enablement in alignment with the channel sales organisation to achieve partner commercial goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, demonstrating the business value of Fortinet SecOps solutions.
- Guide and train partners to successfully position and sell Fortinet solutions through technical, consultative, and architectural pre-sales support.
- Provide technical guidance to help partners achieve Fortinet certifications.
- Keep partners updated on Fortinet products, solutions, services, and promotions.
- Deliver technical presentations, solution showcases, workshops, and proof of concepts.
- Maintain awareness of partner service models, SecOps market trends, and industry developments.
- Support partner-led events, seminars, and training workshops.
- Participate in assessing partner technical readiness and progression.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in network and cybersecurity and motivated to join the Channel SecOps team.
- Experience with SecOps technologies including EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and Advanced Threat Protection.
- Experience working with partners or MSSPs, mapping managed services and driving adoption of SecOps offerings.
- Passion for delivering business outcomes through partner enablement and strong relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have strong aptitude in encryption, authentication, intrusion detection, routing, switching, LAN and WAN; CISSP beneficial.
- Have current or previous pre-sales engineering experience managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals.
- Can demonstrate problem-solving skills that have contributed to key wins.
- Can build and maintain customer and partner relationships and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Have strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
