Job Description
System Engineer Intern assisting in Linux operations and infrastructure maintenance for global clients. Embracing growth in a non-corporate atmosphere with flexible and international opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team in day-to-day Linux operations
- Basic troubleshooting and system checks
- Documentation updates
- Operational tasks related to servers and services
- Checking system status and analyzing logs
- Preparing simple scripts
- Supporting patching activities
- Updating runbooks and procedures
- Assisting engineers during incident resolution or maintenance windows
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Linux
- Willingness to learn
- Knowledge of Linux command line
- Understanding of system concepts (users, permissions, services, processes, networking, filesystems)
- Comfortable reading technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of Bash scripting, SSH, package management, and troubleshooting (a plus)
- Experience with virtual machines, monitoring tools, automation, cloud platforms, or IT operations (valuable but not required)
- Curiosity, reliability, attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Ready to ask questions and learn from experienced team members
