Job Description
Tech Lead Backend developing technology-driven solutions for healthcare transformation in Germany. Leading a team and ensuring project delivery with a focus on data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll build features that help care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and healthcare chains better allocate resources.
- You’ll extract actionable insights from patient data and integrate Recare seamlessly with their internal systems.
- Own the technical roadmap for your team and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Share your technical knowledge with the development team through mentorship and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers to break features into deliverable tasks and jointly define and deliver the team’s roadmap.
Requirements:
- You have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, with 6+ years of full-time professional coding experience.
- Production experience with Golang (or other C-family languages) is required.
- Proven experience (at least 1–2 years) managing a team of developers.
- You value empathy and take pride in contributing to a positive, engaged, and respectful work environment.
- Comfortable and eager to tackle advanced topics such as build pipelines, caching strategies, and database optimization.
- Experience with CI and testing frameworks.
- Willingness to take technical ownership of parts of the codebase — we’re looking for people who want responsibility.
- Proactive and proficient across the product development flow: asking questions, clarifying specifications, raising concerns, and actively participating in meetings.
- The team works fully remotely, so strong written communication skills are increasingly important for documentation, requirements, and asynchronous collaboration.
