Job Description

HR Specialist advising UVM Health leaders on benefits and compensation matters. Handling HR-related inquiries and providing Tier 1 support for various HR issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a primary contact for HR-related matters advising leaders and employees
  • Responds to Tier 1 level issues related to benefits, leaves, retirement, compensation, and talent acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • One or more years of experience in Human Resources preferred
  • One or more years of experience in Absence Management, Workers’ Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits, or Compensation preferred
  • Experience working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional customer service experience required.
