Job Description
Third Party Liability Claims Specialist reviewing litigation accounts, liens, and settlements. Supporting Revecore’s hospital revenue recovery services through insurance and attorney coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Review and work accounts transferred to litigation for insurance information and attorney representation
- Assess and transfer new accounts to determine whether a lien can be filed
- Take necessary steps to follow through on lien filing
- Contact attorneys and adjusters regarding case status and protection
- Send bills, liens, and other information to attorneys and insurance companies
- Review and work adjuster-only accounts to file liens or track settlements
- Contact insurance carriers regarding eligibility and timely filing deadlines
- Review and work liability elective accounts for providers requesting settlement tracking while observing timely filing deadlines
- Review accounts to determine whether a lien can be filed
- Transfer accounts to other litigation team members when feasible
- Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Must reside in the United States within an approved state listed in the posting
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to produce accurate work with attention to detail when handling claims, often under minimal supervision
- Ability to organize and set priorities according to situational demands
- Proven sense of professional and personal judgment
- Ability to tolerate stress and effectively analyze and solve problems
- General understanding of relevant legal knowledge
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of employment history verification and background check
