Job Description
U.S.-licensed dermatologist reviewing skin images and AI-generated assessments for 24-MAG LLC’s dermatology research. Establishing clinical guidelines and improving medically grounded AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Review high-resolution clinical images of skin lesions and identify relevant dermatological conditions
- Describe clinical images using precise medical attributes, including lesion colour, shape, morphology, distribution, and other diagnostically relevant characteristics
- Assess skin health, condition severity, and potential progression based on visual information
- Evaluate whether AI-generated dermatological assessments are clinically reasonable and consistent with established standards of care
- Review AI-generated classifications, descriptions, or assessments of dermatological images
- Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or clinically important omissions in model-generated outputs
- Explain the medical reasoning behind corrections and preferred interpretations
- Assess outputs for clinical accuracy, relevance, and completeness
- Develop guidelines and evaluation criteria for high-quality dermatological image assessment
- Establish standards for describing and classifying skin findings
- Translate specialist dermatological knowledge into structured guidance for research workflows
- Contribute specialist insight to dermatology, clinical image interpretation, and medical AI evaluation projects
- Support development of safe, accurate, and clinically grounded AI systems
- Maintain clear boundaries around confidential, proprietary, or patient-identifiable information
Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D.) with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical dermatology experience
- Strong expertise in identifying and describing dermatological conditions from clinical images
- Excellent command of dermatological terminology, morphology, differential assessment, and standards of care
- Ability to communicate complex clinical reasoning clearly and precisely
- Strong attention to detail and consistency when reviewing medical information
- Prior experience with medical image annotation, clinical education, research, or structured evaluation workflows is advantageous
- Professional fluency in English
- Based in the United States
- Must work without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, patient, or other third party
- H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable
