Job Description
Intern supporting Risk Management and Compliance activities at Grow Financial. Learning duties related to vendor management, risk assessments, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Learn to perform duties in Risk Management and Compliance.
- Support risk management activities related to vendor management and counter-party risk.
- Conduct risk assessments, process reviews, and support data and analytics activities.
- Synthesize information into actionable insights and collaborate with other areas of the credit union.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, or Risk Management from an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion of a risk management or compliance course is required.
- Enrolled in or successful completion of a financial industry compliance certification is preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Power BI knowledge is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with credit union personnel.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to learn complex skills or software with minimal supervision.
