Job Description
Veterinarian providing remote video consultations for FirstVet’s digital veterinary clinic. Assessing pets, recommending treatments or referrals, and documenting follow-up care.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out consultations via video calls with pet owners and their pets
- Assess pets’ conditions
- Recommend simple treatments or refer pets to a local veterinary clinic
- Provide follow-up of cases through careful record keeping
- Provide feedback to clients in line with RCVS requirements
- Provide the best quality of service to FirstVet clients
Requirements:
- 3+ years of clinical experience working with small animals in the UK or RoI
- Qualified veterinary surgeon
- Registered to practice veterinary medicine in the UK
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Proof of skills and qualifications
- Brief cover letter
- Self-employed and in business for themselves
