Job Description
Video Editor transforming raw footage into engaging videos for various digital platforms. Collaborating with marketing teams to support initiatives and optimize content for audience engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce professional-quality videos for marketing, branding, educational, and promotional purposes.
- Transform raw footage into compelling stories that align with company objectives and brand guidelines.
- Create long-form and short-form video content for multiple platforms.
- Review footage and select the best takes, visuals, graphics, and audio elements.
- Ensure all videos meet quality standards before publication.
- Produce engaging short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific clips and highlights.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks, captions, and visual elements to maximize engagement.
- Edit educational videos, webinars, interviews, podcasts, testimonials, and company presentations.
- Create compelling intros, outros, transitions, and call-to-action segments.
- Design and implement visual enhancements to improve viewer retention.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support YouTube growth initiatives.
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, title animations, and branded video elements.
- Develop animated graphics, charts, and visual aids to simplify complex topics.
- Incorporate logos, branding elements, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Clean and enhance audio quality.
- Remove background noise and improve voice clarity.
- Add music, sound effects, and audio transitions while maintaining professional standards.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, formats, and resolutions.
- Ensure proper aspect ratios for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and mobile viewing.
- Implement subtitles, captions, and accessibility features.
- Organize and manage video files, assets, and project archives.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to deliver projects on schedule.
- Participate in content planning and creative brainstorming sessions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Analyze video performance metrics and audience engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing marketing, social media, YouTube, and promotional video projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling and pacing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience editing content related to finance, investment, business, or corporate industries (preferred).
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation (preferred).
- Experience with YouTube optimization and audience retention strategies (preferred).
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva (preferred).
