Job Description

Water Management Engineer servicing client water systems for Phigenics, an independent water-safety consultancy. Testing water, maintaining equipment, and supporting comprehensive water management programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Director of Field Services
  • Provide service and account management support for clients in a region
  • Service existing clients by taking water tests and maintaining equipment
  • Assist in maintaining Comprehensive Water Management Programs
  • Analyze microbiological and water chemistry data
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to client requests
  • Perform minor maintenance on water monitoring equipment
  • Take on-site chlorine, temperature, and pH readings using testing instruments
  • Collect building water samples for laboratory cultures
  • Mentor or train peers after becoming fully trained
  • Travel to client sites, service equipment, and collect water samples
  • Provide occasional support in other regions

Requirements:

  • Background in science, engineering, or mathematics preferred
  • Ability to learn how to use equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant in water
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Self-motivated and directed; "Can do" attitude
  • Strong desire to learn new concepts
  • Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Understanding and use of MS Office, Gmail, and various Google applications
  • Candidates must live near Milwaukee, WI
  • Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight travel and travel up to a 350-mile radius
  • Ability to wear PPE when required, walk extensively at client sites, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
