Job Description
Web Developer responsible for website maintenance, e-commerce operations, and community platform management. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate 25-30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly update website content including product pages, banners, and announcements.
- Perform general website maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Upload and schedule weekly blog content.
- Optimize page layouts and fix minor bugs or broken links.
- Maintain the backend of the merchandise store, including WooCommerce updates and product management.
- Ensure pricing, descriptions, and inventory data are accurate.
- Understand and manage backend components of our community platform using MemberPress, BuddyBoss, and Elementor Pro.
- Upload resources, moderate content, and troubleshoot access issues.
- Keep the platform interface aligned with current business needs.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of app development processes, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Manage backend and frontend components of mobile or web applications.
- Coordinate small web development tasks with our tech team when required.
- Maintain records of updates, changes, and issue resolutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with WooCommerce or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of basic WordPress functions and page builders.
- Competency in handling merchant accounts (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
- Basic graphic editing skills are a plus (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Reliable internet connection and communication skills.
