Job Description
Web Developer at resc. responsible for developing Drupal applications and features. Collaborating with a team on innovative digital platforms for radio broadcasters in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- You will further develop and maintain Drupal and other web applications.
- Together with the team, you will design and plan new applications and features.
- You conduct peer reviews and ensure code quality.
- You document your own work and report progress and results to the team.
- You support colleagues — your expertise is sought when questions or problems arise.
- You analyze tasks and problem statements to derive optimal solutions.
Requirements:
- You are highly proficient with Drupal (version 8 and above) and familiar with its core concepts and features.
- Experience developing Drupal modules is required; plugins, services, and entities are implemented precisely as needed.
- Configuration management and deployment workflows are routine for you.
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are part of your daily toolkit.
- You have experience with component-based frontend frameworks such as Svelte, Vue.js, or similar.
- You use Git, Composer, npm, and the command line regularly in your day-to-day work.
- Bonus points for experience with:
- Decoupled architectures for web applications and connecting HTTP APIs
- Delivering accessible (WCAG-compliant) websites
- Design systems and Storybook
- Application frameworks such as Symfony, Nest.js, or similar
- Application-level and infrastructure caching mechanisms
- Operating microservices
