Job Description
Curriculum reviewer refining New Zealand Years 7-10 Biology or Physics lessons and assessments for Education Perfect. Ensuring accurate alignment with the recently released science curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Review draft curriculum alignments
- Check lesson sequencing
- Update existing lessons and assessments to ensure accurate curriculum coverage
- Refine Education Perfect content
- Work independently using Google Docs and Sheets
- Support development of high-quality, curriculum-aligned educational resources
Requirements:
- Experienced New Zealand Years 7-10 Science teacher
- Strong specialism in either Biology or Physics
- Experience teaching New Zealand Years 7-10 Science
- Sound understanding of the New Zealand Science curriculum and curriculum alignment
- Experience reviewing or developing educational content, lessons or assessments
- Experience using education technology tools to support classroom teaching and learning, ideally including Education Perfect
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to evaluate curriculum coverage and lesson sequencing
- Confidence using digital tools, including Google Docs and Sheets
- Ability to work independently
- Resume and brief cover letter required
