Job Description
Accountant to assist in monthly financial close and reporting for Encora's international entities. Engage in accounting activities and facilitate month-end processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the month-end-close process accurately and timely in conjunction with corporate deadlines.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and schedules such as prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue, fixed price percentage of completion etc.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support in the monthly payroll process.
- Assist Division Controller in monthly analysis and reporting.
- Support the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments regarding customer – and supplier payments.
- Review vendor invoices and provide general ledger coding.
- Prepare revenue adjustments for fixed price and subcontractors accruals.
- Provide support to department managers and other finance personnel in the preparation, understanding, and use of financial information.
- Ability to support various audits and internal reviews.
- Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Solid experience with general ledger accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
