Job Description
Staff Accountant managing full-cycle accounting functions across multiple entities and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Seeking to enhance accounting processes through technology and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) posting and cash postings.
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries.
- Record and maintain accruals.
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Strong experience with:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Cash postings
- Payroll journal entries
- Accruals
- Account reconciliations
- Financial statement review
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Sage Intacct experience is a strict requirement.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance efficiency and accounting processes.
