Job Description
Accountant handling financial bookkeeping and SAP operations at Scholl Consulting. Focusing on accounts payable, receivable, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Responsibilities:
- Support of daily SAP operations and SAP third‑party system interfaces, including error analysis and troubleshooting
- Independent handling of payment transactions in accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Verification, account assignment and posting of ongoing business transactions
- Managing the dunning process and monitoring of open items
- Preparation and execution of daily payment transactions
- Management and hedging of currency risks (foreign exchange management)
- Support with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closings
- Reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies
- Participation in the further development of accounting processes
- In the long term, responsibilities will expand to include general financial accounting (monthly and annual closings), fixed asset accounting, travel expense processing and reporting.
Requirements:
- At least a completed commercial vocational training, ideally with further qualification in accounting (e.g., Financial Accountant, Certified Balance Sheet Accountant or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Confident user of SAP ERP
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
- Team player with strong numerical skills
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
