Job Description
Senior Revenue Accountant handling revenue-related accounting tasks at 1Password. Involves month-end reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis for a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
- Book journal entries covering revenue and related accounts such as accounts receivable, allowance for doubtful accounts, deferred revenue, cash
- Perform month-end reconciliations for revenue-related balance sheet accounts
- Prepare month-end analysis of P&L and balance sheet account variances
- Produce clear, well-structured documentation and memos
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in financial operations
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits
- Execute on key internal controls
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably at a SaaS company or at a public accounting firm
- CPA or CA designation, or path towards such designation strongly preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision
- Passion for delivery of high quality work within stated deadlines
- Interest in and passion for accounting profession
