Job Description

Staff Accountant managing daily accounting operations for multiple entities using QuickBooks. Fully remote role requiring strong accounting skills and independent work.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple entities using QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices across multiple businesses
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor records, and manage payment runs
  • Track and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong Excel skills (reconciliations, schedules, reporting)
  • Ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote setting
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
